Order Emails
Configure the sender display name for customer emails and set up to two admin addresses that receive order notification copies.
Overview
The Order Emails section has two groups:
- Notifications — admin email addresses that receive a copy of every order confirmation.
- Customer emails — controls how outgoing customer emails appear, including the sender name and whether the Return Policy button is included.
Notifications
Set up to two admin email addresses that receive a copy of every order confirmation when a customer places an order through the storefront.
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Recipient 1 | No | Primary notification address (e.g. ops@yourbrand.com). |
| Recipient 2 | No | Optional second notification address. |
Both fields must contain a valid email address if filled in — an invalid format will block saving. Leaving both fields blank disables admin order notifications.
Customer emails
From name
Sets the display name shown in the From field of all customer-facing emails (order confirmations, invoices, etc.).
| State | Displayed as |
|---|---|
| Field left blank | Orderverse <no-reply@dataverse.one> |
| Custom name entered | {Your Name} <no-reply@dataverse.one> |
A live preview directly below the input shows exactly how the sender will appear in the customer's email client. Maximum 120 characters.
The sending address (
no-reply@dataverse.one) is fixed and cannot be changed. Only the display name is customisable.
Return Policy button in confirmation email
Toggle this on to include a Return Policy button in the order confirmation email sent to customers.
| Condition | Button shown? |
|---|---|
| Toggle off | Never |
| Toggle on, Return Policy content is empty | No |
| Toggle on, Return Policy content is set | Yes |
Both conditions must be met — the toggle must be on and the Return Policy field must contain content. The default for new workspaces is off.
Saving
Order Email settings are saved along with all other sections when you click Save in the sticky footer bar.
