Configure the banner slides shown at the top of the storefront — images, colors, links, and ordering.
Overview
The Hero & Carousel section controls the banner displayed at the very top of your storefront. You can show a single static banner or a rotating carousel of up to 8 slides.
Show hero
The Show toggle in the card header controls whether the entire hero banner section appears on the storefront. When off, no banner is shown regardless of how many slides are configured.
Slide interval
Sets how many seconds each slide is shown before advancing to the next one.
- Minimum: 2 seconds
- Maximum: 60 seconds
Slides
Up to 8 slides can be added. Each slide has the following fields:

| Image | Yes (if active) | Banner image. Recommended size: 1280 × 549 px (21:9 ratio). Formats: JPG, PNG, or WebP. Max 3 MB per image — automatically resized to 1200 px wide on upload. |
| Background Color | No | Fallback color shown if no image is uploaded, or while the image loads. Set via color picker or hex input. |
| Link URL | No | Optional. Clicking the slide takes the customer to this URL. |
| Title | No | Optional short headline displayed over the slide image. |
| Active | — | Toggle. Only active slides are shown in the carousel. |
Active slides must have an image — saving without one will show a validation error.
Adding a slide
Click Add slide to append a new blank slide. The button is disabled when the maximum of 8 slides has been reached.
Reordering slides
Drag the handle (≡) on the left of each slide card to reorder. The display order in the carousel matches the order shown in the settings page.
Removing a slide
Click the trash icon on the slide card to remove it. Removing a slide does not affect other slides.
