Make bottle and case mean the same thing to sales, warehouse and buyer

A configured UOM stores its pack multiplier and commercial price. The case can carry a fixed price that differs from the bottle price multiplied by the pack count.

Venue to Supplier

Move the case order without translating it twice

The buyer selects a configured product UOM. That identity stays attached to quantity and price as the order moves into supplier review.

  1. 01

    Venue Opens Its Order Link

A known café, hotel or grocer returns to the same customer link instead of locating the latest beverage order sheet.

  2. 02

    Venue Pricing Resolves

The buyer sees the current price for the selected bottle, case or other configured UOM under its assigned price group.

  3. 03

    Cases Are Replenished

Past-order context helps the buyer rebuild a cart, then change quantities for the venue's current demand.

  4. 04

    Fulfilment Is Confirmed

Delivery or pickup detail, freight, tax and order notes are reviewed before this order is submitted.

  5. 05

    Supplier Reviews One Queue

Customer, SKU, UOM, quantity, resolved price and order total arrive together for confirmation and invoicing.

Use customer context without inventing 3 separate catalogues

Venue type is useful for explaining the workflow, but the current documented product evidence is price group, UOM, fulfilment setting and order history—not per-customer hidden assortment.

Separate ordering capability from beverage operations claims

Orderverse can capture the commercial order, while dedicated inventory, compliance and logistics systems continue to own operational controls outside that order.

Ordering Scope

Bottle & Case Ordering

A product can expose independent selling units with their own multipliers and prices.

Ordering Scope

Venue Price Groups

Reusable price groups can resolve different product-and-UOM prices for cafés, hotels or retailers.

Ordering Scope

Order-to-Invoice Handoff

Confirmed orders can enter the local invoice workflow, with optional supported Xero draft-invoice handoff.

Outside Scope

Keg, Crate & Container Returns

The current ordering scope does not calculate deposits, track returnable containers or reconcile empties.

Outside Scope

Excise & Alcohol Compliance

It is not presented as an excise engine, liquor licensing workflow or responsible-service compliance system.

Outside Scope

Route Delivery Operations

Order delivery details do not include route optimisation, driver dispatch or proof-of-delivery tracking.

Keep accounting optional after the order is confirmed

Use the Orderverse invoice workflow locally or connect the supported Xero path. Eligible local invoices can be queued as Xero ACCREC drafts; the order link itself does not require Xero.

Confirmed Order

Customer and UOM price snapshots retained.

Orderverse Invoice

Local invoice created after order review.

Optional Xero Draft

Eligible invoice queued through the supported handoff.

Beverage Wholesale Questions

Beverage wholesaler ordering FAQ

Review Products, Price Groups and the Customer Portal before configuring a live beverage catalogue.

Product Scope Reviewed 14 August 2026

Can customers order beverages by case and by bottle?

Yes. When multi-unit pricing is enabled, a beverage can have bottle and case UOMs with separate prices. A case may use a multiplier-based price or an independent fixed price rather than simply repeating the bottle price.

Can different venues see different price lists?

Different venues can belong to price groups, and the customer link resolves the relevant product-and-UOM price. The illustrative fixture shows Café, Accommodation and Retail prices. It does not claim that every venue receives a separately hidden assortment.

Can I limit which products a customer sees?

This page does not claim customer-specific product visibility. The current documented customer context covers price groups, settings and past-order history, while active and out-of-stock controls apply current catalogue availability. Confirm any future assortment-control requirement before purchase.

Does Orderverse handle container deposits or route delivery?

No. The current ordering workflow does not calculate container deposits, reconcile empties, plan delivery routes, dispatch drivers or record proof of delivery. Use the appropriate inventory, returnables or logistics system alongside Orderverse when required.

Can beverage orders be invoiced in Xero?

An eligible confirmed Orderverse order can enter the local invoice workflow, and a supported local invoice can optionally be queued as a Xero ACCREC draft. Ordering works without Xero, and already-linked Xero invoices are not edited by Orderverse.

Is the beverage fixture a real customer account?

No. Coastline Beverage Supply and its venues are fictional examples created for this page. Their products, prices and orders illustrate the documented UOM, price-group and order workflow without presenting a customer case study.

Comparable UOM Workflow, No External Effects

Try case ordering before configuring a beverage workspace

The interactive demo uses fictional Harbour Wholesale products rather than the illustrative Coastline beverage fixture. It demonstrates the same customer price-group, multi-UOM, checkout and supplier-review workflow without creating a real payment, email or invoice.
