Interactive B2B ordering demo
Follow one wholesale order from a customer's no-login order link through to a Xero-ready invoice. You will use the product's own order portal and order grid, filled with the demo data of Harbour Wholesale Co., a fictional coffee and food wholesaler in Sydney. Nothing you do creates a real order, sends an email, takes a payment or touches a Xero organisation.
- No account or email required
- Demo data only
- No payment, no email, no Xero change
- Resets after 30 minutes
What you will do
- Step 1
Send a customer their own order link
Every customer gets one permanent link. There is no account to create, no password to reset and no app to install. In the demo you open Seaside Café's link from the Customers list.
- Step 2
Order at that customer's prices and units
The link resolves the customer's price group and the units you sell them in. A café on hospitality pricing and a grocer on retail pricing see different prices for the same SKU, and can be sold the same product by the each or by the case.
- Step 3
Receive a structured order, not an email
The submitted order lands in the supplier workspace with the price snapshot, unit and quantity intact. Nobody retypes an email, a WhatsApp message or a photo of a handwritten list.
- Step 4
Turn the confirmed order into a Xero invoice
Confirm the order, create the invoice, and it queues for Xero. In a live workspace the sync runs asynchronously through a queue and an Azure Function; in the demo the state change is simulated locally.
The same catalogue, priced per customer
These are the actual prices the demo uses. One catalogue of 18 products, three price groups, and products that can be sold in more than one unit.

Walkthrough, in words
The full narration of the guided demo, so you can read it before you run it. This is also the caption track for the recorded walkthrough.
- 01Harbour Wholesale Co. supplies coffee, milk and packaging to cafés and grocers around Sydney. Its Customers list shows four buyers, each with a price group and a permanent order link.
- 02Opening Seaside Café's link shows what that café sees: the Harbour Wholesale catalogue, priced for the hospitality group, with no login screen in front of it.
- 03Harbour House Blend is listed by the case for the café. The same product is listed at a different price for Northside Grocer, and by the each for a buyer with no price group assigned.
- 04Setting quantities and completing checkout submits the order. The checkout collects delivery or pickup details and shows freight and GST, but takes no payment in the demo.
- 05Back in the supplier workspace the order appears in the Orders grid, flagged as new and sourced from the order link. Opening it shows the same units, quantities and prices the café chose.
- 06Confirming the order and creating the invoice queues it for Xero. The sync state moves from Ready to Queued to Synced. No Xero organisation is contacted.
Questions about the demo
- Do I need to sign up to use the demo?
- No. There is no signup, no email address and no credit card. The demo runs in your browser session and resets after 30 minutes of inactivity.
- Is this the real product or a mock-up?
- The demo runs the product's own order portal and order grid components with demo data. Data access and anything with an outside effect is replaced by a demo adapter, so no order, email, payment or Xero record is created.
- Does the demo send anything to Xero or Stripe?
- No. The Xero push is a local state change labelled as simulated. No Xero organisation, Stripe account, email inbox or webhook is contacted at any point.
- How does customer-specific pricing work?
- Each customer belongs to a price group, and each product has a price per selling unit per price group. When a customer opens their order link, the catalogue resolves to their group's prices and units. The demo shows the same three products priced for three different buyers.
- Can a customer order in cases and in single units?
- Yes. A product can be sold in more than one unit of measure, each with its own price. In the demo, Harbour House Blend is available by the 1 kg bag and by the case of six, at independent prices per price group.
- Will my demo data carry over if I sign up?
- No. The demo is deliberately isolated from any workspace. Signing up creates an empty workspace, and you can import your products and customers or sync them from Xero.
- Can other people see what I do in the demo?
- No. Demo state is kept in your own browser tab. Nothing is written to a shared account, and no other visitor sees your session.
